Stress Relief For Work

Start your day with breathing exercises for stress relief

The start of the day has a huge effect on the rest of your day. If you start your day off by being productive then most likely you will have the right mindset to have a productive day. The saying the most important meal of the day is breakfast derives from the fact to start your day off well. Stress at this point of the pandemic seems like second nature. So being able to relieve the stress at the beginning of the day is important. Some ways to do this is by:

  1. Mindful Meditation: Practice paying great attention to whatever is going on in the present moment, particularly our own thoughts, feelings, and sensations.
  2. Abdominal breathing: The goal of roll breathing is to make maximum use of your lungs and become aware of your breathing pattern. It may be done in any posture, but the easiest way to learn it is to lie down on your back with your legs bent.
  3. Clearing your head: Clearing your thoughts might help with neck strain and when you have a lot on your mind.

According to studies, people who are concerned by the outbreak might reduce their anxiety levels by sticking to a normal schedule. When it comes to a morning ritual, all you need is your body and your breath to get started. According to research, mindfulness meditation can increase focus and decision-making. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and experience burnout during these times. But taking each day and being able to take it day by day can help alleviate the stress. Practicing any of these exercises in the morning encourages you to pay attention to one thing that is definite in these unpredictable times: your breath.
